Jackson County Recycling Partnership: Moving Its Website to Craft CMS
The Jackson County Recycling Partnership has a new foundation for its website. Working with longtime Daylight client Rogue Disposal & Recycling, Daylight has moved jcrecycle.org from WordPress to Craft CMS, giving JCRP’s team a flexible, easier way to manage their content.
JCRP is a consortium of local governments and waste haulers in Southern Oregon. It takes on countywide solid waste issues, sponsors waste education programs and events, and helps Jackson County meet state solid waste requirements. Its website is where residents learn how to recycle, prevent waste, compost, and dispose of hazardous materials safely.
Visitors will see the site they already know. The design and the way it works stay the same. What changed is behind the scenes. Every page, piece of content, and image has moved into Craft CMS and been rebuilt on a set of reusable blocks for copy, accordions, two-column layouts, forms, and FAQs. JCRP’s team can now build and update pages on their own, without a developer and without being boxed in by fixed templates.
Daylight also used the move to clean things up. We reviewed every page, combined content that overlapped, refined the sitemap, and improved the navigation, so the site is simpler to use and easier to keep current. A focused accessibility review checked color contrast across the site, and a full redirect map made sure no old link was left broken at launch.

Sometimes the most valuable change is the one visitors never notice. JCRP’s site looks very similar, but it’s now far easier for their team to run and ready to grow with them.
