Cycle30: Building an iPad Sales and Customer Portal
Daylight is building a new kind of tool for Cycle30: an iPad portal that puts sales content in the hands of Cycle30’s team and project information in the hands of its customers.
As Cycle30 has grown, so has the amount of information its people need in the field: product overviews, machine-to-machine (M2M) billing resources, FAQs, partner profiles, and case studies. Rather than carrying binders and slide decks, Cycle30’s sales team will now have it all on an iPad, organized and ready to present. Daylight is taking an iterative approach, starting with a web portal designed for the iPad so Cycle30 can put the tool to work quickly, learn how the team uses it, and refine it from there.
The portal also serves Cycle30’s customers. Customers such as GCI and Arrow Electronics get their own secure login to view project dashboards, service delivery reports, and other information about their accounts, all in one place.
The best sales tools are the ones people actually use. Putting everything on an iPad makes Cycle30’s story easy to tell anywhere, and giving customers their own window into their projects shows the level of service Cycle30 is known for.
Shawn MannCEO, Founder, DaylightThe portal joins a growing library of sales tools Daylight has created for Cycle30, including customer case studies. One shows how Cycle30 helped GCI streamline iPhone 4S activations in its Alaska stores in the weeks before launch. Daylight also helped shape sales training for Arrow Electronics, which offers Cycle30’s M2M billing to its customers.
