Splitting her time growing up between the East Coast, West Coast, and Iceland, Sabrina settled into Portland as the weather and the culture seem to be the perfect blend of the three. Outside of work, you can often find her outside, reading a book, and enjoying the scenery.
For Sabrina, Digital Marketing is something of a family business, with both her father and her sister residing in the same field. Growing up, Sabrina went to performing arts schools where she specialized in musical theatre and opera before deciding that she wanted something more technical and falling into Digital Marketing as a career choice. She is still always on the lookout for new creative outlets and enjoys drawing, creating digital art, cooking, singing, and writing.
Starting out on this career path at the age of 15, Sabrina did mostly content, copywriting and social media work before making her way through most of what marketing has to offer. Her specialties include Facebook advertising funnels, messenger marketing, SEO, and customer acquisition, but she maintains a can-do attitude about her work and insists on learning new things and challenging herself with projects that she may otherwise be unfamiliar with.
Sabrina has joined the Daylight team to help them branch out into more marketing, customer acquisition, and ABM-centric projects. Here, she will lend a hand on SEO, content, social media, copywriting, keyword, and PPC projects.
Outside of her work projects and creative hobbies, Sabrina is passionate about veganism, feminism, mindfulness, meditation, mental health awareness, environmentalism, and conscious consumption, amongst other various forms of activism.
What motivates you to succeed in your job?
Personal challenge/growth, and (hopefully) the opportunity to help people.
What is the most valuable tip you’ve received about your career?
If you’re the smartest person in the room, you are in the wrong room.
Where do you take first-time Portland visitors?
My priority is always to feed them as much of the food that Portland has to offer. That list usually includes Luc Lac, Stumptown, Homegrown Smoker, Ichiza Kitchen, Bamboo Sushi, Sweet Hereafter, etc.
