As a Portland native who has never left the Pacific Northwest, Ali’s background includes marketing and project management. She loves the satisfaction she gets from beginning a project and seeing it all the way through completion. She graduated from the University of Oregon (go Ducks!) studying Business and Marketing and before taking on her role as Associate Digital Producer of Daylight, she helped manage large commercial and residential projects in the architecture industry. When she’s not at work, she is eating her way around Portland or catching up on her favorite TV shows.
Where do you go to escape Portlandia?
Usually Central Oregon. Ever since I was young, my family has made a trip every year to Sunriver. Nowadays I like to visit Bend for some skiing on Mt.Bachelor and to check out its awesome breweries.
When you’re not working, you are probably?
This ultimately depends on the season. As we all know, it loves to rain in Portland and during the rainy season I can be found indoors watching my favorite TV shows or going to the movies. But during summertime (my favorite) I can be found enjoying nature on a hike, near a body of water or at a park.
Favorite Portland eatery?
This question always sparks an ever-evolving discussion as I’m continuously discovering new places to eat in Portland. Some of my all-time favorites remain Le Pigeon, DOC, and Little Bird.
