Brandon Hafer creates elegant and functional interactive projects as part of the Daylight design practice. He’s been working in photography, graphic design and web design since 1996. Before committing to design full-time, however, Brandon and studied guitar-building and repair, and also toured as a professional musician. He has lived in Alaska and Canada, but is now happy be part of the Portland community. When he’s not working, he lives and breathes the local culture through music, design, snowboarding, backpacking, yoga and biking.
What motivates you to succeed in your job?
I’ve always had a fascination with tinkering, taking things apart, fixing, problem solving, and understanding how things work. Working in design and the internet gives me an endless playground to learn and create.
