Join us at Daylight for our annual Design Week Portland Open House on Thursday, April 11th, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. Soter Vineyards, Argyle Winery, and Hundred Suns Wine will be showcasing their wines as we geek out over the digital terroir of the industry.
Design Week Portland 2019 attendees and wine lovers won’t have to go far to get a taste of some of the Willamette Valley’s best. In honor of our work in the wine & spirits industry, Soter Vineyards, Argyle Winery, and Hundred Suns Wine will be pouring some of your favorites paired with tasty charcuterie from Olympia Provisions.
We’ve been a part of the Portland design community for 17 years, and we love sharing our tech-focused creative knowledge with DWP attendees. We’re excited to bring two of our passions together for one big juicy open house. Visit our sun-filled studio, drink award-winning wines, and talk to our team about what it’s like to work at Daylight.

Argyle Winery
A pioneer in the Oregon wine industry, Argyle was founded in 1987 by Rollin Soles to capture the unique terroir of the Willamette Valley in a sparkling wine. Now more than 30 years later, Argyle produces one of the most diverse portfolios in Oregon – Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, and Sparkling wines.
Soter Vineyards
Located on the 240 acre biodynamically farmed Mineral Springs Ranch in Carlton, Oregon, Soter Vineyards is comprised of 7.5 acres of Chardonnay and 32.5 acres of Pinot Noir, producing our MSR & White Label Pinot Noirs and limited quantities of Brut Rose and Blanc de Blanc. Beyond our estate, we source exclusively from certified sustainable vineyards to craft North Valley Wines and Planet Oregon, both representing our land stewardship and commitment to the environment for these personality-driven wines.
Hundred Suns Wine
Our name, Hundred Suns is a reference to the growing season of approximately 100 days from flowering to harvest. We are a small family of Eola-Amity Hills AVA vignerons, who also source from respected growers in the Willamette Valley, where we strive to create honest wines of character without additions or manipulations, thoughtful wines we think are delicious now or can age for years to come.
Design Week Portland
Design Week Portland is a week-long, city-wide series of programs exploring the process, craft, and practice of design across all disciplines. Our mission is to increase appreciation and awareness about design and its far-reaching effects on matters of cultural and social relevance, including community development, education systems, and the economy.
