SAIF Learning Management System

With a robust training program for its employees and policyholders, SAIF Corporation wanted a way to evolve its instructional courses into the Internet age, to be more efficient and cost-effective across multiple offices and teams. At the same time, SAIF needed a strategy for migrating and organizing existing training courses into digital format.


Daylight customized and implemented the CurtainRise learning management system on the SAIF internal network, including a course builder module and multiple permission tiers for users and administrators. Daylight also consulted to SAIF on equipping and building an in-house media studio for developing electronic coursees, and provided e-learning training and technical instruction for SAIF staff over several months.

The system launched on SAIF’s secure, internal server in January 2009 and is maintained by Daylight today, with ongoing media production assistance provided as needed.

In 2010, Daylight updated the system to interface with commercial training software Articulate, allowing SAIF to create content even more easily.
